Dr. Richard H. Cartabuke was born in Syracuse, New York and received his Bachelors of Arts in History, Bachelors of Science in Biology and Masters of Arts in History from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He obtained his medical degree at State University of New York – Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. He completed his residency and chief residency training at Cleveland Clinic. He completed an advanced fellowship in medical education at Cleveland Clinic. He is currently pursuing a fellowship in longevity medicine through the American Academy of Anti-Aging, which will conclude in 2026.
His general internal medicine practice consists of primary care, hospital-based medicine and executive health.
In addition to his general medicine practice, he serves as the medical director for HealthNetwork Foundation, is a regional board member for Make-A-Wish Foundation and is the current President-Elect for the Society for General Internal Medicine.
Dr. Cartabuke resides in Kirtland Hills, Ohio, with his wife, son and daughter. His wife is the owner and operator of Synergy Equestrian, a 31-acre equestrian facility in Chardon, Ohio that houses over 20 horses.
